At Valor, our unwavering commitment to academic excellence fuels our mission. We aspire to provide our scholars with an academic experience that stands in the Top 1% nationwide, and for us, this means being in the Top 5% in the state for both achievement and growth data. Achieving this dual distinction is no small feat; in fact, fewer than 1% of schools in Tennessee accomplish this each year.

We are passionate about meeting every scholar where they are.
Our Results
Top Rated Schools
Valor’s three schools are among the five MNPS schools and the only charter school network in the state of Tennessee to earn an A+ rating on the Tennessee Department of Education’s 2023 School Letter Grades. The four indicators encompass Academic Achievement, Academic Growth, Growth of Highest-Need Students, and College & Career Readiness, with Valor receiving the highest possible score in each category.
Consistent Achievement
Since our founding year in 2014, our scholars have consistently outperformed schools across the state of Tennessee and MNPS in tested subject areas. Historically, our scholars’ achievement scores on state assessments have ranked in the top 5% of the state.
Emphasis on Growth
For five consecutive years, our middle school scholars have consistently performed in the 99th percentile in Student Growth in the state, as measured by data from the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS).
College & Career Readiness
Our high school’s ACT composite score ranks in the 99th percentile among open-enrollment high schools in Tennessee. Additionally, as an AP School Honor Roll recipient, our scholars enrolled in AP courses across multiple content areas including Biology, Drawing, Environmental Science, Capstone, Spanish Language and Culture, U.S. Government, and U.S. History, scored, on average, 11% higher on their AP exams compared to the global average, demonstrating mastery of college-level coursework.
Where Do Our Graduates Go?
At Valor, we prepare our scholars to lead inspired and opportunity-filled lives. While most of our scholars go on to college after graduation, others immerse themselves in gap-year experiences, attend a trade school, or gain direct work experience. Our graduates who continue with higher education attend universities and colleges across the country.
